On this page we would like to remember one of our lovely local charecters who will be remembered by many people in the area for being a wonderful man,this man is Ted Askey.Some of you would have known Ted personally for many years and come to think of him as a very close friend,people like me who have only heard about Ted and been lucky enough to have heard so many delightful stories about him and his farm at Finney Green have come to grow quite fond of his memory and hold it dear.
Ted owned the farm at Finney Green for many many years ,and some of you will remember the farm as being the venue for the Hollywood festival hosted by the Red Bus Company.This was a great musical event over a bank holiday weekend that Ted was kind enough to give his permission for,(you can read more about he festival on the Hollywood page).
You will find below some fantastic photos of Ted and his family who have been generous enough to let us share their memories of their wonderful father who will be very sadly missed and I am sure in most of your hearts forever.
